Heritage
Daniel Geoghegan and David Peill began working together in 2003 by assisting an emerging market property fund to structure its business and raise capital. It soon became clear that their shared values, professionalism and ambition made for a good partnership, and one that could be leveraged to build an effective and integrity driven property investment enterprise.
In 2005, they formed Argo St George to create and manage real estate investment vehicles in which informed investors could invest alongside them on the same terms.
Initially undertaking third party corporate finance work for real estate businesses where it was also to be an investor, Argo St George quickly established itself as a leading fund manager and fund raiser for the Republic of Georgia, raising a substantial portion of the country’s foreign direct investment in 2006 and 2007.
Tony Larkin, having participated alongside Argo St George as an investor, joined the partnership in 2007 bringing investment banking experience to the existing real estate and venture capital expertise.
Today Argo St George is primarily focused on creating and managing real estate funds for high growth and opportunity markets; its corporate finance function being engaged both in advising and raising capital for its internally managed real estate funds as well as for external third parties.
