Heritage
Daniel Geoghegan and David Peill began working together in 2003 by assisting an emerging market property fund to structure its business and raise capital. It soon became clear that their shared values, professionalism and ambition made for a good partnership, and one that could be leveraged to build an effective and integrity driven property investment enterprise.
In 2005, they formed Argo Saint George to create and manage real estate investments in which informed Investors could invest alongside them on the same terms.
Initially undertaking third party corporate finance work for real estate businesses where it was also to be an Investor, Argo Saint George quickly established itself as a leading fund manager and fund raiser for the Republic of Georgia, raising a substantial portion of the country’s foreign direct investment for private, commercial entities.
Tony Larkin, having participated alongside Argo Saint George as an investor, joined the partnership in 2007 bringing investment banking experience to the existing real estate and venture capital expertise.
Today Argo Saint George is solely focused on creating and managing real estate funds for high growth and opportunity markets; its corporate finance function being fully engaged in advising and raising capital for its internally managed real estate funds.
In 2007, Argo Saint George advised on over USD500 million of deals, including in excess of USD300 million of debt and equity fund raisings, in addition to fund managing the largest investor in Georgia’s leading property developer.
