Daniel Geoghegan

Since 2002, Daniel has focused on providing corporate finance advice and fund-raising. He has advised on over USD300million of debt and equity transactions, alongside various property company appointments, since Argo Saint George’s establishment.
Prior to 2002, Daniel was Managing Director of European Capital Ventures, a Euro 25 million holding company with a focus on IT services, and founder and Lead Partner of Sargasso Partners with which European Capital Ventures merged in 2000.
His experience in venture capital sits alongside his corporate strategy and business development role at HMV Media. He began his career as an Investment Manager, working with Venture Capital Investors B.V., Amsterdam, overseeing investments in a number of ventures in emerging markets.
Daniel holds an Honours degree in Law from Reading University, and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Warwick Business School. He is a member of the UK Society of Investment Professionals and holds an Investment Management Certificate.
